When I am working on a project that needs more compute resources (like GPUs),

once I specify the resources I need, I want to be able to click the general Launch button and get the same resources,

so that I don’t have to re-select the same resource class every time I start a session.

Set default resource pool & class per Session Launcher (for the whole project, not per user)

• if you don’t have access to the session launcher’s default resource pool/class, we prompt you to choose a pool/class

  • [nice to have] … that preference is saved

  • The idea here is if anything is needed for session launch (missing credentials, no access to the default resource class), the user is prompted with a minimal interface for entering that specific information, rather than being shown a whole start with options style page.

• (assumption: everyone working on a project probably has access to the same resource classes)

When I am setting up a Session launcher, I select a default resource pool & class

When I am viewing a session launcher side bar, I can modify the default resource pool & class (if I have access rights).

The resources pools I have access to in Renku 2.0 are the same as the resource pools I have access to in Renku 1.0.
