This tutorial will guide you through creating a Renku project related to weather data in the city of Genova. For this project, data stems from Zenodo and the code is provided in a GitLab repository.

In RenkuLab, you will bring data and code together in an interactive session where you can do any analysis and seamlessly share with others. Let’s get started!

Step 0: Create an Account in RenkuLab

To begin using Renku, you need to create an account. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit RenkuLab
  2. Click on Login at the top right corner
  3. Sign up using your preferred option (edu-ID, GitHub, or ORCID)

Step 1: Create a Project

You will land in your personal dashboard. From here, create a new project as follows:

  1. In the My projects section, click on + to create a new project

  2. For project Name, enter Genova Weather Analysis

  3. Click Create.

Step 2: Connect Data

The data for this project stems from the Zenodo Data Catalog:
