What projects are happening in my group?
Who is working on which projects, and with who?
Which projects are active?
❓What is the funding source for this project?
❓ What publications came out of this project?
Where are the assets (data, code) for each project?
What are the classification and data sharing agreements associated with a project?
(maybe? → Louis yes) Which assets (datasets, code) are used in multiple projects?
Which projects do we have that are in X topic?
Louis Notes (in Figma)
member list
- also alumni
- everyone who has access to the projects, not necessarily in the lab
- students
- external collaborators
- very good that you can have people in the project who are not members of the group (external contributors and students don’t need/want the group page)
- external contributors don’t need to be in the group page filters (only need group members to be in the filters)
component “used in X projects”
- assume when click on “Used in X projects” will show you the list of projects
- likes the “this data is often used together with...” (idea for the future)
auth model
- auth model: aligns with his expected
- expects no credential sharing!
keywords
- great to have keywords, nice to have, certainly wont get in the way
- ok with keywords for status rather than implementing a whole new feature
What’s Missing?
- wants an asset for funding source
- kind of works for keyword, but has additional info (documentation) associated with it
- though duplicated from grant portals...
- functional as is though
- data documentation
- would like overview of data agreements, with whom
- doesn’t necessarily need to bubble up to the mgmt view
- not super important right now
Anything you don’t need?
- shared environments- not dealing with a lot now
- … though maybe useful? when do this analysis, use this environment
- everything looks useful!
Next Steps
- Share mockup for feedback, also from Tanya
- Let know when build cycle decision made
- Keep in the loop during build
- Should be released in July
- → Louis’s Lab has an Annual Lab Meeting in September: 2 hours, will talk to the group about Renku
